Trident Tech – Scholarship Opportunity

Trident Tech

Attention ASQ Charleston Section members:

Trident Tech has a great educational opportunity available. The Workforce Pathways Scholarship can grant up to $2000 for tuition and books. Basically, you can take great courses for professional or personal development for free (see notes for minimal up-front costs). To obtain information on the Workforce Pathways Scholarship Funding Opportunity, including approved courses and the application, please visit website: http://www.tridenttech.edu/ce/funding/index.htm

Course list can be found at http://www.tridenttech.edu/ce/programs/catalog/index.htm

Notes and Helpful Hints:
You do have to provide (at your expense) drug screen and background check – but it is a small investment of time and money for a return of up to $2000.
Trident has a special rate with Lowcountry Drug Screening on Goer Drive, North Chas. For $35 you get results of a rapid screen at time of test.
Background check can be obtained for $26 online at www.sled.sc.gov
